Muscat: In reference to the demands made on some social media platforms regarding reducing the class hours in schools during the remainder of the academic year, the Ministry of Education (MoE) said that the approved school day program will continue without any modification, in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. (2025103) concerning the annual school calendar for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Ministry also emphasized the necessity of full adherence to the prescribed school day duration to ensure the smooth running of the educational process and the achievement of its objectives, in accordance with the approved timetable in the aforementioned academic calendar.
The Ministry called upon everyone to cooperate and work together to support student attendance and promote adherence to learning time.
